Silver linings

There were upcoming events that I really wanted to attend but unfortunately I couldn't and certainly couldn't attend due to some family celebrations that coincided with the affair. This is the silver lining, the return of all breast cancer victims. This is a project of the Icanserve Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to developing high-impact information campaigns in breast cancer. I chose to copy the article because anyone who might be interested can contact iCanserve or the silver website. And here it is. ,

The Icanserve Foundation brings to Cebu, silver, homecoming for breast cancer sufferers in this country and an educational forum for breast cancer. The only kind in the country.

The Waterfront Hotel in Lahug City, Cebu hosted the event on September 6, 2008 Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The registration fee is P100.

Some topics include: everything you need to know about breast cancer, deal with the side effects of treatment, done with cancer treatment, what's next? During and after cancer, it looks good to feel good, way home. And more.

Throughout the day, there will be free consultations with doctors and cancer patients. C-network offers free bone sugar &sugar checkup. Who's quick he gets.

The event was hosted by Pinky Marquez. Other moderators include Karen Davila, Melissa de Leon and more. Bituin Escalante closes the show.

The silver lining features a distinctive "wall of gratitude," where anyone can write about the journey of faith, courage, and love in cancer.
