Camsur Watersports Complex

After touring Bicol Region and seeing Mayon Volcano, we passed by many more beautiful places in the southern part of Luzon on our way home. CWC or Camsur Watersports Complex is one popular place among yuppies and celebrities, which my nephew wouldn’t want to miss. We almost had lost our way to the complex, but we reached CWC at the right time enough to enjoy some of its numerous facilities. Nephew would have wanted to try his skill in wake boarding but too many amateur and professional wake boarders were queuing up for their turns. He veered to the swimming pool instead, including us.

Some shots taken on the vast CWC:

This helicopter had just landed.

Scenery from afar.

The swimming pool.

Camsur (Camarines Sur) Watersports Complex is still an on-going development. But the place is already a favorite destination for well known personalities and sports enthusiasts.

What Do You Love About Your Husband

When Umma of Spice of Life and Donabel of Memoirs of Pinay in America, passed this tag to me, I had qualms on doing this. Why? Because I have been mentioning a lot about hubby’s good qualities. It maybe tiring to read same things over and over again. As Umma has mentioned, “for the sake of the coming Valentines Day” she created this positive tag dedicated for hubbies. And so here it is. Thanks to these gorgeous ladies, Umma and Donabel. I now dedicate this to THE GREAT LOVE OF MY LIFE. ...ahemmn! ( How I wish, there'd be bloggers who'd start creating tags dedicated to wives. Why!.. It's always wives writing tags dedicated to husbands.)

Now, what are the things that made me love my husband? There are so many reasons why I love my husband. I’m actually very grateful for the fact that our marriage of 28 years and two months have been very smooth sailing and no serious marital trouble all through the years. Of course I won’t deny that we also had some arguments but all those I think, were but normal to married couples.

If I'd be asked what really made me love him, I’d say because I just feel I love him. It only grew this much because he’s been kind, patient, understanding, loving, open handed, hard worker and a very good provider. (ahemmm!) and hopefully he is really faithful. On this aspect, I can't have 100 percent guarantee coz I don't see him 24/7. If ever he's unfaithful, he does it perfectly coz I can't find loopholes in his actions.

I love him coz he always stays by my side every time I am sick and he does all the work while we're in the hospital.

I love him coz he tries to be funny most of the times.

What I love in him the most is that he always make sure that we get to celebrate every important occasion we have in the family. Either we have an out of town vacation, a dinner out for the family or a date for the two of us.

I admit that I am crazy sometimes to impose too much on him. Yet, despite my bizarre attitude, he’d be patient enough not to react adversely.

To wrap it all up, I would like to express my gratitude to this man, whom I’ve spent more than half of my life with, for having endured all my defects and weaknesses through all these years.

Passing this on to all blogger friends who have husbands to dedicate this tag to. Grab this now. This is for you!

Sunday Family Bonding

Sunday is supposedly a leisure day. We’re all free at home except daughter. Her work being in a service oriented company calls for her attendance even on a Sunday. I miss our family weekend out-of-town trips usually in Subic Freeport Zone Yes, we could always go but sans daughter most of the time. So last Sunday, I decided that we pick daughter up in her office after her work at 12:00nn. I brought them (with Hubby driving for us) in Yam

Cha for a buffet lunch, at the same place where I had dinner with friends last month. I only wanna let them try the place. My kiddos are picky eaters especially my son. So I thought I could make him gobble up every food he’d see knowing all food selections are scrumptious. Each one seems to have enjoyed the buffet lunch but I figured out, I had the largest food bag. (LOL) I just can’t resist Chinese food, the reason why I love this place.

Son and Daughter can't make up their minds which to pick first.

back for dessert.

Here are some of what we had:

Nido soup Century Eggs /Oysters

Stir fried lengua Wrapped peking duck

Assorted chosen food. Ebi Tempura

Fruits in season The Yam Cha

I think we almost had a flat tire going home after that sumptuos buffet lunch. We certainly weigh much heavier than before going to Yam Cha. The broomsticks are now barbecue sticks. (LOL)

Rustom Padilla is Dead

Rustom Padilla is dead and Bebe Gandang Hari (literally translated “Miss Beauty of a King) is born and here to stay forever." That's the statement given by Rustom Padilla, actor and the erstwhile husband of actress Carmina Villaroel. Rustom is the eldest brother/sister, of action star Robin Padilla. I was in a state of disbelief when I saw him walk like he/she is a ramp model fully clad in a female attire in the entertainment T.V. program Startalk. I’ve watched the episode of Pinoy Big Brother wherein he confessed he is gay. From that time on until today when I saw him again on T.V. I still get shocked seeing him as a female personality. I just couldn’t shake off the image of a handsome debonair young man I used to see on T.V. programs of the 90's. Nonetheless, that’s how he would like to be known now. He is now Bebe pronounced Bibi as in “Bb”. The abbreviation of Binibini, which means Miss.

He looks very confident and satisfied with his new found sexual preferrence. What can you say?

Reaching Bicol Region

As a continuation of my previous post, we’ve reached our place of destination which is Legazpi City in the Province of Albay in a much longer travel time. But we were enjoying our sightseeing, so long hours of trip was totally insignificant to us. From our overnight stay at Lopez, Quezon, we carried on with our road trip until we reached Naga City. Sunday it was, so we opted to attend mass at the Basilica de Penafrancia.

Infection Hits Me Again

I was chilling cold last Saturday afternoon which I mistook for the effect of the super cold weather we’ve been experiencing lately. I thought of bathing it away with a cold shower. What followed next after the cold shower was chillier moments matched with very high fever. I took paracetamol but the fever wouldn’t subside. The chill would be gone for a while but would be back again and again even with paracetamols. Until the early morning of Sunday when hubby could see that I am really battling with the chill. He drove me to the ER of National Kidney and Transplant Institute. I was confined and went through a lot of laboratory tests. The diagnosis: Complicated Urinary Tract Infection. No ordinary infection indeed, coz shivers and fever persisted even with the four IV bottles of antibiotics emptied in my vein. I got better though with the fifth until I was totally free of chills on Tuesday. My doctor required a 24 hour fever free period before I could be discharged. I was allowed to go home only on the noon of Wednesday.

I have missed my blogging so much that as soon as I arrived home I took my laptop and attempted to return the visits of blogger friends. But after only doing one, I felt dizzy and needed to rest. I’ve wasted a couple of very precious, once in a blue moon opps for me. Sigh! I just hope the advertiser won’t take that against me. Anyway, I’m back and kickin’. I miss you all, my blogger friends!

Taking Glimpse of Various Places in South Luzon

Our trip to Legazpi City last December 27-30, 2008, took us long hours, the exact time I wouldn’t know for we had so many stops-over before we reached our final destination. I’m actually amazed by so many beautiful sights we’ve seen along the way, places I have only heard and seen on TV or read from magazines and internet. It was indeed an enjoyable expedition made more pleasurable by the company of my loved ones.

The Rose and Grace Restaurant in Sto Tomas, Batangas. This is the
most expensive Turo-turo Restaurant I've been to. Ask me if I'll come
back here. I'd tell you, I won't, unless you're gonna foot my bill.(lol!)

Egyptians Statues displayed inside the R&G Rest.

A plate's serving of Menudo
Grilled Tuna Belly and Sinigang na Tuna Panga

One serving of young corn and carrot w/ green veggies and beef caldereta

The interior of R&G Restaurant.

A heaping bunch of fresh pineapples on the side of the road.

This antique house in Canderlaria, Quezon just caught my attention.

Quezon Town Center - this is their Mall

A strip in Bitukang Manok, Atimonan Quezon

Notice the people on the road side? Plenty of them asking for alms.
My coin purse was turned inside out just for the spirit of Christmas.

This is all for now, guys. Still have plenty to post but I'm already very sleepy.
Goodnight!(ah, I should say.. Good morning!)
